A 5.6 m sliding driveway gate, motorised
The gate has been on every day for two rainy seasons and still moves like it did the day they fitted it.
Gates, windows, burglar proofing — made to last, made in Kenya. Designed for Kenyan homes, built in our Lanet workshop, installed by the team that welded them.
What we make
Window grills made to fit every opening on the house.
Steel-frame casement, or slim-mullion Crittall-style.
From a 1.2 m pedestrian gate to a 6 m auto gate.
Recently installed

They came back the day after the install to grind down two welds I’d barely noticed. That’s the standard.
Quoted exactly what they charged. Installed in the window they promised.
The workshop
Lanetech is a working welding shop in Lanet, Nakuru — not a showroom. Mild-steel stock is racked along one wall, gates and window frames are jigged on heavy steel tables, and every weld is ground flat and finished before it leaves the floor. What ships from this workshop is finished metal — not a fabrication kit. The same hands that cut the steel install it at your gate.
Materials we work with
The standard finish for gates, windows and burglar proofing. Oven-cured matte or satin coat — far tougher than aerosol paint, holds colour through Nairobi sun and short rains.
Hot-dip galvanised before any coating, for exposed posts, gate tracks, palisade fencing and anything that meets the ground. The zinc layer is what makes it last.
For hand rails, balcony rails, and pieces clients want to leave unpainted. Brushed finish standard, mirror polish on request. More expensive — used where it earns its place.
For decorative panels and heavier feature gates. Cast iron is sourced through a local foundry; cold-rolled flat-bar is used where the profile has to stay sharp.
